About Me

My name is Eileen Lund.  I decided that it was time to start blogging about a topic that I am passionate about.  After feeling completely helpless after the Northridge earthquake in southern California, I promised myself that I would never be caught without the essential items necessary to sustain life for my family.  The topics of Food, Light, Heat, and Shelter will be covered during the coming months.  I hope my thoughts and ideas will assist others in reaching the goal of self sufficiency and the peace that comes from being prepared.
